Texas Tech, who is projected to get one of the national seeds, has had their ass handed to them the past two days. Today, Oklahoma, who we are familiar with, beat them 17-4

And the announcers call out Gridley again, and his lack of range and positioning.

We get a damn good outing from a guy out of the pen in game 1 and then our two aces shit the damn bed!

Why Young? He is not good at all. Let's get innings for guys that may actually contribute THIS postseason..like Breaux, Small, Cyr, etc. Bringing in Young is a waste of damn time

We are pitching guys that are not going to help us in regional play. Moonlight and young. It doesn't make sense

Tatum last night, Young tonight. There's no more doubt in my mind that we are using this tourney for getting guys in the game that haven't played much recently. We'll see if that strategy pays off. I think it will.

Unless we have just crumbled away on the inside, I really believe we will play well in the Regionals. If we can make it to Omaha, and have to face anymore of our conference trash, we better bring the viagra next time.

Young walks his first batter. Great decision, coaches. This tournament effort has been an absolute shit show. ****ing clown patrol

I really don't care who they pitch but when you come out of the pen you HAVE to throw strikes damnit. Walks are not acceptable

Well hey, he did get the pickoff on 1st right off the bat. None of our other pitchers have been able to do that.**

How could it? Cohen would be a total fool to pitch Tatum or Young in a Regional or beyond. Why not pitch guys that might actually see the field again this year? Cyr, Billingsley, Smith, Breaux, Small, etc.
Young and Tatum is a waste of good innings

Cohen didn't do shit like this at Kentucky. Why at MSU?

Cohen using the "ground balls just finding holes" excuse.....umm, we CREATE the holes by playing shallow and out of position at SS and 2B

Because Kentucky's home field is a matchbox. He didn't have to tweak and play small ball.

Not Young though. We will not see Young again this year, so pitching him now is a waste. That's just the facts.

You may be right about that. Only Cohen knows for sure.
