    SOFTBALL GAME THREAD - MSU v. Southern Mississippi

    Girls set to get underway at 2:10pm

    RF - Bailey
    SS - Winkfield
    3B - Seitz
    DP - Toler
    1B - Bell
    C - Adams
    2B - Heimberger
    LF - Nichols
    CF - Ivy

    Freshman Cori Cooper will get first start in the circle

    Let's pluck the Golden Buzzards Bulldogs! Still no Silkwood. For those that don't know she is injured. Apparently it is not serious but is enough that we're not going to take any chances till we really need her. I still hope she gets some action before SEC play. I wouldn't want her first start to be a conference game.

    The competition hasn't been amazing so far, but these freshman pitchers look pretty good.

    Ladies win again. 5-2 over Samford in 8 innings. 3 run walk-off HR for the win. 9-0 to start the year. They will be playing in Gulfport next weekend with a Sat night game against Baylor. That would be a good game for people to go see some high quality softball hopefully.

    Thanks for the update. I went to work and left my phone at home today.

    We have a game tomorrow at 5:00pm in Hammond against SE Louisiana.
