What's also interesting is that their QB club went from 120 members when Houston Nutt arrived to over 1,200 members across the nation:
“We were a local club until Coach Nutt’s arrival. We had 120 members at the time, and when we reorganized, we got a charter from the Secretary of State, we elected new board members, got a tax exemption, and within two years, the membership grew into 1,200 people. And this is members from 37 states and two foreign countries,” Meek said.

Along with Meek, other officers include vice president John Hinkle, treasurer Sonny Potts, and board members Jimmy Brooks, George Tomlinson, Tommy Butler, Johnny Moore, David Naron, Richard Carlisle and Bill Rucker. Tomlinson, who has been on the board for four years, says he is glad the club is able to fill in the gaps for the coaches when needed. “Sometimes, there are some unforeseen things that come up for the coaches, and we want to help them to help our school be competitive with our rivals in the SEC,” he said.
