Personally, I feel if AJ doesn't officially visit mid-week, he doesn't sign with us.
I don't question his work ethic, certainly don't question that he runs a camp(s) although I don't like it how he sometimes portrays those camps as the vehicle for "exposure" to players who college and JUCO coaches wouldn't know "who they were" if it weren't for the good ol' Sherriff, that he watches video, or has a show and a website.

I do question that he is more knowledgeable. Personally, I think Paul is more knowledgeable, but the difference is he knows when to shut the hell up and he doesn't try to make it look like he knows everything that is going on. And he doesn't hold personal vendettas against quality players to the point where he makes it look like the player isn't worth taking at MSU knowing that a lot of our fans are going to echo what he says.

I mean- he basically tried to run off Brandon Bryant because Bryant didn't tell him he was going on an OV to USM. And then without talking to any of our coaches stated that Bryant's scholarship had been pulled. And then he states that he was thankful because he really like JT Gray better and now he had a spot in the class- which our coaches somehow miraculously got both in the same class which I'm 99% sure was their real plan all along. And finally after the whole mess- he was never wrong the whole the time.

And then last year he basically bashed Kentavious Thomas I guess because he liked Alec Murphy better or something stupid like that. He was "right" but I didn't like how he handled it.

And now you have this with AJ. Every year it's something with at least one recruit where he makes it a pain in the ass for our coaches.
