There was a hoops guy on one of the national high school MLK games this week addressing that topic. Not just Malik but the freshman class in general. Said it was a down class. Other than 2 there really weren't any traditional one and dones as compared to other years.
Said no. 10 or so in last years class isn't top 30 in other years as an example.
Whether true or not it was interesting thesis.
Said next year is deep class. And we have 6 of them. Mentioned MSU specifically.

If you can't beat a gimped Ole Miss team at home, who would we have beaten. Luckily, we have stopped turning it over and are forcing them to score out of their half court sets. We need this win to have any chance at anything this season.

Sure we should win this game, but anyone who's followed our season would know 0-18 is essentially an impossibility.
