If you're a great recruiter he won't know. Unless he tries to commit anybody can be made to think they're the #1 guy.

According to a scout link I just read that AJ retweeted he is scheduled to have a meeting with our coaches on Jan 27th then headed north on the 29th if he still makes that trip and going to Cali this weekend

I listened to an interview with that kid, and he basically admitted that we were a distant third, so I agree it is a waste of time, but I was hoping UT would land that WR that just committed to OSU and wouldn't have room for him. UT is dropping kids left and right because they have problems with spots. All their oversigning and bullshit that they have pulled the last few years are catching up with them.
Callaway is a good player, I think he is a better CB, but he is a playmaker that I was hoping would give us a real look. Anyway, nothing set in stone, just the rumor that Im hearing.

Yea his heart is set on UT. I agree though his future is at CB instead of WR.

We also will get the last in-home visit w/ him. (but freeze will try to stay on the phone to him until 4 in the morning)

Butch has a knack for taking commitments on kids way to early and then finding someone "better" and kicking the first one to the curb

Looks like long time commitments are getting the bad news this week from coaches all across the country. Michigan just "lost" a long time commit, a big OT from Illinois.
Basically when no one is trying to schedule you for an official visit, to the school that you are committed to, its a problem.

Is this what brings on the early signing period for football?

We just offered Kenny Turnier, a DE out of Miami that is committed to Oregon St.
Not sure if he will take a visit, but my money says he does visit.

Are all these wr offers committable or are we keeping them warm? If warm, might be concerning

We've been saying for a while that we are adding at least 10 more.

May not be sold on Stallings as a DE also. Another rush DE is needed in this class IMO & Kobe or Jeffery are DE.
