Every player and situation is different. Some typically commit when they talk to the head coach before leaving. Some players wait to speak with their parents if they're not there or want more time to think about it.

seems to be having a damn good time. shooting hoops with Saban. today he tweeted a pic in a bama uni. Gotta admit, it would be really hard to turn that down and it's only an hour and half from home. Bama's facilities are 2nd to none.

He did put on Bama jersey...Lets All Freak Out!! I laugh at some people trying to infer a tweet with him wearing a jersey, that is always done at every school on OV's, that it is a some sort of negative. They should just ban social media this time of year.

I'm with u, but I would be calling Simmons and making sure he came with me.

Saban is telling him the same thing he told Norwood, I need someone on the other side of Julio/Ridley.

I think the first thing everyone needs to understand about AJ's visits is that AJ is a big personality that plays a glamour position.

He's going to live it up on every visit. He is going to juice ever last once out of this recruiting process, even at schools he has no interest in attending.

On signing day though, I think he's a dawg.

I don't think the average person realizes how often he comes to practice & how much time he has and does spend with Mullen.

Look like there could be some good news on Raekwon Davis this morning.

I know some will roll their eyes at that, but for long term stability purposes, it's a great commitment.

Most here have wanted to recruit better on the OL, well....within the next few years, we'll have Lashley, Champion, Davis, Jenkins, etc playing for us. Outside of a few teams nationally, that's as good of talent at the tackle positions as anyone.

Also, regarding Raekwon, the news is that he is getting closer to qualifying. That would be a huge plus. He's not a 100% JUCO guy right now.
