Is it finally going to happen?
Any truth to a rumor I just heard about a 2016 5* recruit letting the cat out of the bag and telling someone how much he was offered by OM? I heard this from a friend that said an OM alum told him about it.

Yes. I'm writing a piece for AP. I'll be interviewing said recruit tomorrow and releasing my article on Friday. Om fricked

He wouldn't be the first to tell someone.

I remember Chris Spencer back in the day being recruited by Miss State and Ole Miss. His mother said that JWS offered to pay off their home and buy them a car. His dad said the JWS offered him a job for life but he went to Ole Miss. It was either them lying, he was the biggest dumb ass in the world or Ole Miss made a better offer.

Who gives that much money to a recruit? I couldn't, but I wouldn't if I could

Friends with Chris since middle school. He never wanted to go to State. Nicest guy in the world with the coolest little kids. Sure he took some kick backs but it wasn't a bidding war.

I knew Chris, His Step Dad and Mom at the time. Have not kept up with them in years but His Step Dad is an idiot. Chris was a very nice young man at the time and his mom was really sweet lady but one of the three things I said happened.

Just give it up. They will continue to throw money around and nothing will change. We must adapt or die

Can we just go ahead and delete this before it gets screenshoted?

If you are kidding, thats almost a ban worthy offense... don't even get peoples hopes up like that.
Like others said.. sadly.. I have to take the attitude.. I will believe it when I see it.. and I guess Seeing it..Means the NCAA hands down a punishment.
