Does it not concern you that South Florida's defense got trampled in their final game against Western Kentucky?

If you cherry pick one game nobody will look that great in your eyes, especially a bowl game. They held FSU to 34 points, Memphis to 24, ranked Temple to 23, and the bowl game was back and forth against one of the best offenses in the country. In Allen's first year.

Appears that Buckley will be interviewed this week for the safety's spot. I think this just about appears to be a done deal.

That's good news! He has to be attracted to the job with all the talent he has to work with

Seriously? Again with the "Mullen wants out" so he's going to slow the hiring process..aka, not do his job, and hurt MSU because he wants out...

Who is reporting this? And both for the safeties position? Seems like Buckley would be our preferred candidate if he'll come given his experience.

I'm assuming Hopson interviewed for DC spot and Buckley safeties. And they guy I asked said that Paul had said they interviewed
-
I know we have talked to Buckley- can't say about Hopson
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Paul indicated that Hopson was interviewed/interviewing for the safeties coach position, not DC.

He's the perfect fit for our program. Can you imagine how grateful he would be to Mullen for a second chance as a "big boy" DC? It would just be good for football.
-
I'd prefer Thompson or Allen over Hopson from what I've read so far.

so a good story for football...a second chance....ok I get it...an experiment. I think we need to do more than shoot an arrow and hope it lands on target. We need a freaking rocket launcher who we know can hit target.

I agree. But I don't think rocket launchers fit well in our program.
