Story of the game. Our ladies just couldn't make shots tonight. They were getting to the free throw line a ton but missed a lot of free throws in the first half. I have never seen Vivians miss more shots than she has tonight. And both McCown and Okorie fouled out at the end. Played great defense but so did Texas. Our girls can play but they aren't there yet. If they knock down more shots and quit missing valuable free throws they could have won this game. Seemed like they couldn't calm down enough to knock down their shots. Relied to much on the 3 and not enough getting the ball in the paint. I will admit Texas D was very good like ours so it was tough and Vivians and co didn't have a lot of room to shoot.

Not a good shooting night, and we still kept it close against the #6 team on the road. That's a good game for us because we hadn't played anybody yet. We'll probably be 13-1 going into SEC play.
