Manny always comes out "vanilla", teams shred us, he starts blitzing, then we praise his adjustments.

Yes he did. And I give him full credit for that. But can you name any more? I'm not trying to be a dick. I'd love him to earn that first round money this year. I just haven't seen him do it.

I respectfully disagree. A&M had short field all night long & our defense gave us a chance.
Was it a great performance? NO, but it's not why we lost. We lost because of turnovers & because our offensive line is shit

I've always hated the defer. Always take the ball.

I know Jenkins and Calhoun would be starting on my O-line. Dear would be working at RB.
On defense, Peters and JT Gray would be starting. Everything else is about right.

agreed and that we have the least imaginative play-caller in college football since Woody McCorvey

Suplexed Kimdeechee in the Egg Bowl. Multiple sacks as a freshman.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Yep. Those fumbles killed us. Awesome job for our defense to give us a shot in the shitshow, but our offense failed to take advantage.
Hated Dak's decision on the fourth down pass. Bet he had a receiver open shorter for the first down yardage. Wish he didn't get locked onto one receiver like he did on that play.

My entire life I've preferred the defer but seeing how brutal Mullen is coming from behind I am atleast open to the idea of taking the ball first a couple times to see if we get out the gates faster.

Mullen is great with a lead at halftime but is horrible playing from behind.

How many is multiple. Honestly asking.
Just feel like hasn't lived up to the billing he got coming in and no one recognizes that.
ETA. To give him credit where it's due, that is one of my favorite tackles I've seen of someone wearing maroon

Not positive, but I don't think we have ever won after being down at the half.

The fact is they were better than us. They executed better when it mattered. We should have been at least even with them at the half had we executed on well called wide open plays. That sucks but it is what it is. Re-adjust your sights, which for the most part were over inflated, and get behind your team. If you don't then you ain't a Dawg. If it's warranted then there is time for this stuff AFTER the season. This team can still have a god year. If nothing else if you ring true then DAK PRESCOTT deserves your support. Time to separate the Dawgs from the......well.....

Some merit to his idea. Although they did score first last year too. We get better defensively during a game for the most part.
We really lost this one by failing to at least run the first half out and then crapping out a turd of a punt and letting them take a two TD lead into th3 half.
