The Sherrill era changed MSU football for the foreseeable future. I really, really doubt we'd be where we are now without Sherrill. So don't trash those guys. They won more than MSU had ever won to that point in our lifetimes. They made us believe what our program could be. They laid the foundation for what Mullen is building on today.
Madkin, Fant, Sleepy Robinson...all those guys and their teammates were damn great Bulldogs.
