OK. I wonder what the market is going to be for Jason Grilli, Jim Johnson, Kelly Johnson, and perhaps Cameron Maybin? The Braves are to the point where, if they get a strong offer of players who will contribute in the future, they will be sellers. John Coppolella recently stated that the Braves weren't going to just move everyone on a free agent contract or everyone who is 30+ unless it makes sense to do it.

Grilli is going to be very attractive, IMO. There will be a few teams in the playoff mix that need bullpen help. Cameron Maybin is the guy the team doesn't have to trade. His playing well, is 28 years old, and has a manageable deal. He may be more valuable in a year than he is now. It would take a pretty significant offer to get him.

Much like the Phil Gosselin for Bronson Arroyo and Touki Toussaint trade, the Braves could be in a position to tell someone they will take on their bad contract if they give them a top prospect with that contract.
