It's funny how when this was mentioned barely even a week ago people were still saying, "you're crazy, he took us to the NC game!" I have a friend that said last year he wanted him fired because he saw his philosophy wasn't going to work long term and with his underdevelopment of players he needed to go.

I don't like or want that to happen. It I am a realist as well and it just isn't adding up. There will need to be a major turnaround and surge in our offense and wins, or he will definitely have one last year to save himself.

As I said in my "realistic post" yesterday the changes that need to be made are very minor and that blowing up everything would hurt us in the long run. The best thing we could do is replace Mingione.

Of course, I would prefer not risk losing a class full of Team USA players, UA All-Americans, and PG All-Americans and hurting MSU baseball in the long run by firing Cohen now. Especially considering what Cohen has done the past FOUR years in a row.

Agreed. And actually, for a program that hasnt sniffed an SEC title since 1989, has never won the Western Division, and has just 3 tournament titles in25 years, cohen in reality in overachieving at a middle of the road SEC program
