From Pat Forde.....
20 Teams that need a win....
20. LSU. Game: at Arkansas, Saturday. The Tigers likely wouldn't fall out of the bracket with a loss at the Razorbacks, but they've forfeited much of their margin for error with losses to the dregs of the SEC: Missouri, Mississippi State and Auburn. Adding a 15-point home loss to Tennessee this week to the pile of ugly defeats did not help. LSU can afford to lose, but a blowout could be damaging.
Dregs of the SEC. Accurate and sobering.
Will it ever change?

But we're making progress and improving. Next year we'll just be the laughing stock of the SEC.

I like an upbeat attitude.

Its a shame that the national media and some of us understand how bad things are, but some of our fans refuse to be objective about the situation.

It's not a shame it's how it works. Works just as well in reverse too, think about it.

We play hard and don't fight in the stands though. That's what matters so being referred to as a "dreg" must be a compliment.***

it's ok as long as nobody throws on a wife beater.

The fact that most our fans are more engaged and emotionally invested in the women's program is very telling. Myself included.
