Another outstanding point...I'm gonna steal that

We will have only beaten one team ranked in the top 25 at the end of the year and everyone knows they will not want to have 2 SEC teams in it. I think one of the teams if not multiple will lose though.

Arizona State
Georgia TEch
Minnesota
Oklahoma
Clemson
Louisville
Boise State
Marshall
Utah
What do these teams all have in common?
1) They are currently in the top 25, ahead of Arkansas and LSU
2) They would all be underdogs to Arkansas and LSU if those games were played on a neutral field.
Relax.

Pay attention. Long said last night on TV that they take into account where they were rated when the game was played.
Not one damn talking head has a damn clue what is happening. And it pisses them off so they get louder and louder. None of them knows shit about shit and it's killing them.
-
Trevor Matich has no clue. He was on SC this morning saying RG 3 was not elusive. I know its random but just goes to show what an idiot he is. He also hammered dillon day but hasnt said a word about bryant throwing a punch for ole miss. neither has anyone else... We win out, and we are in. Theres a reason OSU is 6

The talking heads have lost clout they did not foresee losing with this system.
The talking heads see their relevance slip-sliding away so far as playoff prognostication goes.
They still have to sell beer and Viagra commercials on their tv shows and radio call in opportunities.
They did not know dick under the old system but had a facade of influence.
Now they are grabbing at straws trying to make educated guesses and they are being humiliated.
Me thinks that a committee comprised of former coaches, players, politicians, and college athletic lifers are enjoying how the journalist class is fumbling this bad.
The lone variable that worries me is the post championship rating, and that is a mild worry.
Just win. Leave no TSUN loss as a blight upon our season.
Rebel Bears eat boogers.

How do you propose to make that happen? It's basically impossible.
Arkansas beats Mizzou? Ranked
Winner of aTm/LSU? Ranked
Auburn and OM would have to totally get destroyed to fall out from their current positions.
Better chance we'd have beaten 4 ranked teams than only beaten one.

The B12 has a real conference champ. They just don't have a championship game. They are a single division league. Don't make the mistake of thinking, "NO CG = no champ". Part of the committee's charter is to give credence to "Conference Champions", not "CG Winners".

Danny Sheridan was just asked who had the best chance of getting the 4th spot. He said we were the LEAST likely to get the spot. I've never seen bigger sheep/haters in all of my life. I'm going to have to quit watching TV.

If we win Saturday, there's going to be a lot of butthurt over that final ranking out there. I think that's the first time I've ever used that word, but it's appropriate. Riots in Ferguson? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

It appears they don't have a real conference champ. Instead, they have co champs, and use the tie breaker system simply to decide bowl tie ins.

Nowhere in this does it say anything about a tie breaker deciding the actual champion. That's the first article I saw, so maybe you've seen something else, but this is what I've heard all along. Co champs

Ohio State lost to Virginia Tech..... That should take them out of the conversation right there.

If we beat TSUN we are co-champions of the toughest division in college football.
SEC West co-champion > B1G champ. Period. And I bet the committee sees it the same way.

If there is any question at all, the Committee will only take 1 SEC team. If everything holds like it is now, we are out.
I have never claimed to have a reliable source, but this is from as reliable of a source as you can get that is not on the actual committee. If I turn out to be wrong, I will never claim to have a source again.
I'm sorry guys, but we need Alabama to lose and we need to win the SEC Championship.

If "everything holds like it is now, we are out" -- why are we still ranked #4? Makes zero sense.

I didn't say I understand it. Everything doesn't even have to hold as it is. He was adamant that even if FSU loses, we are out. There will only be 1 team per conference if it is at all possible.
