Tusk, I don't care if the spread grows to 20, the Bama team that beat LSU last weekend isn't beating MSU. So unless Bama has another gear that we haven't seen this year, and no Texas A&M doesn't count because that was a beaten, discouraged team when you played them, then Bama is going to get beat on Saturday.
Coming off of a physical, emotionally draining game at LSU, Bama will have to play at a higher level than they have all year to win Saturday. The media seems to think they will. We shall see.

Apparently the team that beat down LSU and Auburn, and has a roster full of upper classmen, got worse this week.

Most people are betting on State...

I think all this is a product of history and us coasting the last 3 games. People have simply forgotten how good we are. Especially when we are up.

Then why is the line moving up? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Now how in the Hell is the line going up to 10 if most people are betting on State? You don't know how the betting line works. It would be getting less if folks were betting on us.

I agree. They played well enough at times defensively... and at times offensively... but not in the same game...
they'd better start peaking if State brings their "A" game, for sure.

the number of people betting doesn't move the line... it's the amount of money bet...
I thought it'd hit 8.5-9 or maybe 9.5.... no way did I think it'd go double digits.

I still don't understand why the Bama win at LSU is legit and proves how great they are, but the State win at LSU is not. LSUs not THAT much better. Their QB still sux.
It's always hard to beat Bama...hell, look at the record. and it ain't just us. They own everyone.
I'm really anxious to see if Tubby is back at 100%. He could help a ton, but it's hard to imaging him being "back" until I see it. Seems like years since he's played.

Hell, Bama gets the best player in the nation at every position, every year. Looks like to me they are underachieving!!
I know that's a stretch, but there's some truth in there to.

Don't know about how many people, but most of the money is obviously being laid on Bama. Lots of it in fact, to move the line that much.

He is correct. Over half the money is on State. Since corporations own the casinos now the lines don't move with the money like they used to.

Where are you finding out that over half of the money is on State? Just curious.
