Dawg61 claimed Cunningham was better than Sword, doesn't understand the difference in Sanderson basketball and SEC basketball, doesn't understand the difference in JUCO basketball and SEC basketball, and thinks Jack Taylor would be our best player (look him up). Like Brad, I'm in awe that he was nominated for this award. Talking a lot about basketball doesn't mean you know what you are talking about.

Do you deny what I said? I don't really want to, but I'll go back and cite each of those instances if you would like.

I voted for Dawg61 because he at least acknowledges that our program is in the shitter and doesn't seem to be getting out of said shitter soon

If that's all it takes to be knowledgeable about a topic, then consider me an expert in multiple fields such as the national economy, health care, politics, and social security.** To recognize something as faulty is not a display of knowledge -- it is a display of common sense. Apparently you realized the same thing that everyone did; DAWG61 was just obnoxious enough to post about it all day, every day, and you fell for that as "knowledge."

Brad if I win this award

If somehow you win, all we have to do is wait for another year of basketball to go by, point out a few of your dumb comments during the season, and hopefully have a more realistic candidate list of this award next year that does not include you. It is the first year of the site, so I will give those who nominated you (looking at you Pioneer Dawg) and those who voted for you a break this go-round.

All of the things you just listed might be better than MSU basketball, seriously, I feel like a ****ing marlins fan cheering for our team. The bigger question is, will they be handing out bags with eye slits as door prizes next year?***

Holy cow, Brad Stevens; I had no idea you had so few posts. To get nominated, and likely win, for most knowledgeable on anything with less than 150 posts is truly impressive. Well done.
And yes, anyone who ever uses the term 'Sanderson' in a discussion of how to improve any D1 basketball team should be disqualified from this award forever.

your new avatar should disqualify you. Until now I thought you were the real Brad Stevens.
Cunningham and Sword play different positions... well, until Ray decided to play Sword out of position and in front of Ready who is a much better 1 than Sword. Sword is a SF. That's it. He's a slasher with little to no outside threat. He turns the ball over constantly. He's a liability at 1 and can't score from the outside at 2. Three is his only spot.

So are you saying that you really can't determine if Sword or Cunningham is the better player? Lebron and Roy Hibbert play different positions, but Lebron is obviously the better player.

If Brad is the basketball guru of this board, then it is a shirty basketball board. All He post is some mumbo jumbo crap. What bit of hoops knowledge has he posted to impress anyone? He would not know a snowbird from a bunny. Coastdoglover is probably the best basketball poster. How old is Brad twenty? I'll bet he doesn't know who Jerry Jenkins is?

I'm sorry but when I saw this, this shirt just seemed to fit the thread.
