We know you don't like Jans; you literally say it in every MBK thread. To act like Lebby is a better coach than Jans is something. Maybe you can point out some ways in which he's better. Jans just had his first losing season ever, and he's coached at 7 spots (16 seasons). Lebby has doubled jans' losing seasons in his only 2 seasons as a HC. Maybe this year he will get his first winning season

Well, first how do these guys translate to “The Dentist” (worst nickname in the world). I’ll be honest with you guys. I’m about as excited about basketball as some of you are with football. At least Lebby is getting players from legit big boy D1 programs. “The Dentist” is a bottom feeder, and he does suck as a coach!

I happen to agree with you. I know people say Jans has won everywhere but what has he really won? He's had some good regular seasons but his teams dont typically go far in the tournament. I just havent seen the player development, the offense or even the defense for that matter, and defense is supposed to be his specialty.

Here we are again recruiting a bunch of mid major players to fill an SEC roster again. And Im not bashing the mid major guys because there are some talented ones out there who belong, I just dont like the idea of building a full team like that. At least go get some ACC, Big East, Big ten type players who've been through the battles. Im just not excited about Jans and our Men's program right now, and there was a time I was all in on him.

Todd golden in 2024 got transfers from Chattanooga, wash st, and FAU. In 2025, he got transfers from ark, Princeton, and Ohio.

Duke's transfers the last 2 seasons have come from Tulane, Princeton, Purdue, Syracuse, rice, and rice again.

These are two of the most successful programs in the country, and they're after mid majors. Again, I don't know how our guys will do, but to act like they suck already bc they played at a lower level is dumb.

Can do good with the right midmajors. Also, many of these midmajors have previous power 5 experience.

Yep, what I said he should be doing in NCAAT - go get the best of the small schools.

Getting a highly rated player from a P4 is a player that isn't happy, not lived up to billing, and wants more money which means you'll overpay for him.

Go get the best of the small schools and win.

Jans made a name because he won at those small schools with lesser talent. We had NBA type talent with Howland but coudn't win enough.

No, I'm saying you're an idiot for immediately judging players bc they played at mid majors
