That's not a why. That's just a self-description of you and you wear it as a badge of honor. I'm one too - and in my heyday I was more notorious on bigger platforms (Madden Ultimate Team EA Forums circa 2010 is something you'll never be as good at).

When I do it, typically it was an escape from shitty reality for me. Now if I do any ragebait it's more to bait someone in particular (like the concern trolling I'm doing to you right now) or I just do more engagement bait to have folks laugh.

You're stoking folks to get mad. Some you've met, some you've not. Most all who want the same thing as you - State to be better. Why troll and rage bait here and piss off folks you like? Why not go piss of those you don't?
