Yeah, I thought the same thing but don't they run the bats thru a compression tester prior to the game?

Yeah I was shocked that the ump didn't look at that second broken bat more

UGA hitting reminds me Arkansas a few years ago and UT under Vitello. Everything they hit is scalded and a routine pop up tends to go 350. I remember when Arkansas came to town one year and looked the exact same.

I still remember 2021. Arkansas hit, what I thought, was a pop fly. SOB went 395.

Back to the topic at hand, I don?t know whether Coggin is the answer or not. I have heard a few people say that Ammo actually runs a lot with their hitting. I would hire Ammo in a heartbeat. He?s a great hitting coach and he finds these portal kids that knock the shit out of the ball.

I?ve been on record that I don?t like McMullen, but I haven?t since day 1. And I can also admit that a lot of my dislike of him stems from the fact that I liked Jake. Jake was a good hitting coach who recognized when kids were struggling and was able to work them through that more times than not. Jake also would give his left arm for our guys. McMullen would pull kids aside in the middle of ABs early in the season. Now he just sits at 3B like a 17 walrus. The book is out on how to beat us and it doesn?t appear he has made any changes to our approach at the plate.

Was it Van Horn that called out TN (knowing Vitello did it while at Arkansas) or something about the bats
