Yea, pitching and defense let us down on Thursday night, but on Friday and Saturday we held the best slugging offense in the country to 3 and 5 runs respectively and lost both games. That should not have happened. Georgia's pitching is their weakness and we made it look like it was their strength. Pretty sure we had less offense against them in the final 2 series games than in any other SEC series they've played. And I know SEC umpiring is bad but, unless they are just all biased against us, last I checked we are all playing with the same umps calling the games.
Yep the O in my concern. This has been brewing for weeks. Struck out 13 times in last game at OM and a bunch overall. I said that Grambling game was terrible timing. Pitching was so bad it made us worse at the plate. UGA confirmed we have hitting issues now.
Pitching been good, D better than O, O got to get fixed.
