Concern for Friday
We are mashing the ball. Scoring runs faster than a dude hammering miralax before a colonoscopy. Butttttttttttt:
For 2 weeks now we have faced RHP's. Friday we face our first lefty since UPig. Gonna be changing the line-up around some

And Hunter Elliott is good. He's been wild at times, though...so we'll need to be disciplined and get his pitch count up fast.

I assume Wyers will be in instead of Frei. Probably Valincius instead of Parker. Maybe Bevis instead of Stallman? But if we get Elliott out of the game and they bring a righthander in from the bullpen we will have several lefties to pinch hit.

I think Stallman stays in

Other than last week he's given up a bunch of freebies.

I said he's been wild, lol.

They dropped mid week to Memphis 6-2 last night

There are shitty lefties that can be smoked but Hunter Elliot should be very good on Friday. They have an ugly bull-neck piggy eyed kid named Libbert that is also LHP for Saturday. Their original Saturday dude, a skinny Joe Dirt kid name Townsend is a RHP but is day to day due to arm soreness from two weeks ago. Taylor Rabe is their top relief is RHP. The Joe dirt starter replacement is a RHP transfer from SLU named Owen Kelly.
Bevis, Vystas, Wyers, and Chone need to be ready for Friday and Saturday action.
Stallman has not been raking lately, but has been hitting the ball hard. Bevis, Wyers, and Vystas come with 600 career collegiate ABs, should be ok.

All of this- it’s going to be interesting
BOC makes the big bucks to get this shit right- I’m genuinely curious how he plays it

Their Saturday guy is probably their best pitcher, but he's been out with a minor injury...supposedly he's good to go for this weekend. We'll see...

You keep adding this every other post you make, as if it's not well understood by literally everyone.
So what's the agenda you're setting here? We don't get to "fill in the blank achievement" and you get to claim you were right?

I?m confused about this agenda as well. It?s weird as hell. What?s the point of pointing this shit out? Was 34 a big lemonis guy or something?

He's a contrarian and ragebaiter.
There's nothing to argue about much on this board right now:
Baseball is awesome
Basketball had a shit year
It's March, and football takes been beaten to death.
So engagement bait about how we need to do better than losing 4 of 25 games - all away from home, 3 by 3 runs and the other by losing the tie in the 8th. State baseball fans are starved so we're overlooking first year growing pains given that we're clearly a top 5 team in the country. So he's gonna take the opposite side to get reaction.
He's much better at getting engagement on rage bait than on a coffee product.

I agree with C34. If we are going to spend all this money on a club sport and a coach then I expect us to be in Omaha every year and winning most years. Penn State does it with wrestling and they consistently win national championships. Same with Minnesota and hockey. Both sports draw the same national interest as baseball. So if we are going to spend a lot of money on this sport when we are struggling big time in football and basketball then I expect consistent titles

You expect to win Omaha most years now?
Youre comparing wrestling expectations to baseball expectations?

What if someone told you the money going to baseball is coming from sources that don?t affect football at all. Same with basketball.

Oh I’m well aware of that, I am just stating a fact. Our fans care more about baseball than the 2 nationally recognized sports and then we wonder why we are short financially in them.

We get it. You were cut from your T-Ball team for trying to chase butterflies during the game. No need in being miserable about it to the point of trying to change baseball fans minds about a sport they choose to support financially. Besides, Basketball at Mississippi State IS Definitely a CLUB sport! Tennis at MSU probably outdraws basketball in attendance!

It sets it up so that if we do not make it to Omaha he can post in June that our first season under O’Conner was a failure. Which, he has the right to think that. He will not be the only one who thinks that if we do not make it. Heck, I myself might have those thoughts, especially with the lineup we have. But I learned something very valuable in 2016, when we were arguably the best team in the country, it only takes one team who has a player on a heater to beat you.
