    In the long run Ole Miss losing helps us IMO. I think they get exposed by Texas this weekend and already have by USM and Coastal Carolina.

    Yeah. I was about as close to the home plate umpire as one could get without being on the field. And I'm not usually one to tee up umpires as they do a pretty good job on the whole.

    But there were a couple of times last night I shared thoughts with him loudly. I had a very good view/angle on the check swing and that call was just plain bad. The other was a strike call on Noah that was obviously high.

    I have had some fun reading the game threads here, On3, and GP this morning. I know I'm quite irrational at times but some people saying that we were mid and wouldn't be hosting was going a bit overboard.

    Notice the standing room only on the berm. We sold out the place. Over 6100. Anyone ever want to come down and watch a minor league game PM me. Just 3 rules No politics, No religion and I'm friends with most of the Umps. And I hope you have memorized Major League and Moneyball quotes.

    So yeah- Lemon went CWS-Covid with likely CWS- CWS champion- the only one in our history- I expect BOC to make the CWS 3 years in a row because Lemon left him in such a good place in addition to our boosters paying major money to do so. Anything less will be a disappointment because Lemon did it. Win a title or you aint Lemon bitch
