    THIS!! This would do it. You can transfer. You can sit out, you can go play hopscotch and come back to football a year later, but at 23, you age out. This would seal it up nicely.

    Because the average time it takes to finish high school is 4 years, and the average time it takes to finish college is 5 years.

    Obviously there are outliers on both ends and a lot of people who start don't finish, but I think we all know smart people who needed more than just 4 years to finish college, not nearly as many who needed an extra year to finish high school.

    This is true. MSU has been screwed over so many times by guys leaving before they should.
