    Robert Duvall dies

What a great actor. Best known for The Godfather and the greatest line in War Movie history. The guy could play any Character.

I don’t think anyone could deliver this as good as Duvall in this movie. “I love the smell of Napalm in the morning” Apocalypse Now.

Man, I hate to hear this. Absolute GREAT actor and one of my favs. We lost Gene Hackman and Robert Redford last year. Clint Eastwood can't be far behind.

Loved him in everything he did. And in his words as Capt Gus McCrae in Lonesome Dove "It's not dying I'm talking about, it's living. I doubt it matters where you die, but it matters where you live"

People surf in New Jersey. It's amazing what people don't know about New Jersey. People assume horror that is Newark is the rest of the state.

But Duvall was a great Consigliere

I could watch Gus/Duvall and Woodrow/Jones on an endless loop. I love Lonesome Dove so much except for a couple annoying AF characters.

He had so many great roles but my wife and I chose to watch Secondhand Lions last night because we watched it so many times with our kids when they were younger. Some great memories.
