As if college sports weren't falling off fast enough (bama MBK related)...
"A judge in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama on Wednesday granted a temporary restraining order in favor of G-League basketball player Charles Bediako, making him eligible to play immediately for Alabama.
The NCAA had ruled that Bediako was ineligible to play after entering the 2023 NBA draft and signing a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs. He later signed Exhibit 10 deals with the Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons, and had played in the NBA G-League as recently as last week.
But Bediako sued the NCAA in Tuscaloosa County court on Tuesday, asking for the restraining order against the NCAA. He also requested a preliminary injunction...."

Baylor already won this battle. It's why I keep saying State needs to jump in these waters before everybody is doing it.

No- but we could have an OF of Tanner Allen, Colton Ledbetter, and Rowdey Jordan. Carribean Jerk and Nate Dohm need some more innings also
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Yes, Really. The guy from Baylor never played in college and never signed an NBA contract. Neither should be eligible but this Bama situation is different.

Courts make all decisions. NCAA isn't allowed to do anything in governing its own sports. I dont understand it.

Me either. Why are we letting judge goober from Tuscaloosa change decades old rules.
And surely theres another answer than either collective bargaining or Antitrust from Congress.
-
Lawyers! And now Chambliss is probably getting a 6th year thanks to another judge Goober.
-
Bama has no shame. Oats lets murderers play for him. Win at all costs.

And yet he doesn’t win. No NCAA championships during his tenure.

Judge is an Alabama donor, who has given 6 figures. Not sure what recourse the ncaa has, but this should be a judge that gets an example made of. When judges use their power to help a sports team, the fbi should be able to do something. A judge should be above reproach
