That doesn't surprise me. They were basing his entire waiver on the fact a redshirt freshman QB didn't see the field because he had his tonsils removed in November that year. Anyone could see it was bullshit. Mars even included that denying him would be a financial strain on him and his family.
Like dude should get drafted. Dak was a 4th round pick which is probably where he will get drafted.

He will obviously be fine monetary wise but yeah this is going to cost him $3-3.5M this year

UW threatened legal action then his agent left him basically calling him a dumbass so we went back to UW on his hands and knees.
