That's why I kind of like these moves. It's ballsy. But if they don't work not sure how much support he is going to have.

one dude gotta be in charge and chad wasn't that dude. he learned a valuable lesson and also cut out a mole source for some media and boosters who think highly of themselves

Auburn- Toss up, KT might give us an edge here.
LSU in Baton Rouge with Kiffin- big time recipe for a loss for MSU
South Carolina- I think we win this one but it's on the road so toss up
    Texas in Austin- Loss
Oklahoma- Toss up but at home probably a loss
Mizzou- wouldn't be surprised if we won or lost this game honestly at home so toss up
Vanderbilt without Pavia- probably a win.
Plus you have Minnesota which will not be as good as AZ state was this year more than likely. Between 6-8 wins is what I am expecting right now. Obviously that will depend on the portal hauls and what other do in that regard along with us.

Lebby knows he's gotta produce Ws next year. the team was obviously improved this year over last. his own decision making cost us 2/3 games and almost our lone SEC win. but he knows his situation...and if he's gonna go down he's gonna go down doing it his way with his guys and his system. i can respect that...but it better work.

Those boosters are the reason he was hired. They'll also be the reason Lebby is retained or fired in 12 months

Pretty clear that Jeff Lebby isn't listening to any boosters. Or he's just trying to piss everyone off. I don't know.
I hate the Arnett hiring myself. It's extremely lazy. But he's liked by many of our boosters. So I have to ask, where are you getting your info? Because it's laughably wrong.

Wait, hiring Arnett was lazy and a booster move for Lebby. But firing Bump would be 180 degrees in direct conflict of the same logic? Not following your train of thought.

I'm pretty sure that train took a dirt road.

You probably are having trouble following it because it's not what I said.

I think we are all having a hard time following it.

He said by hiring Arnett he's not listening to our boosters, to which I pointed out that no, our boosters like Arnett. The rest of this is just elitedawgsbullshit*™

Sorry I had to spell out was is blatantly obvious to most.

He also mentioned Bumphis being fired in the post YOU quoted. Whom our boosters also love. I wasn't the only one calling your post into question because it wasn't logical. But I appreciate you spelling out what you meant and doubling down on your logical fallacy.

ETA. All those boosters you think still love Arnett, he burnt a lot of those bridges and many of the ones involved with that HC tenure with Zach have lost a lot of influence.

So the boosters who love them some Arnett, who brought Bump back were still so involved after the debacle they helped create, that they told Lebby to fire Bump and bring back Arnett. Am I close here?

I don't have to admit that.

It's Lebby's job to evaluate coaches. What I have to admit is, "I don't know if Bumphis is a good coach or not." I don't believe anyone on this board knows if Bumphis is a good or bad coach.

Lebby seems to think he had a problem, he is addressing it. I will go with the guy getting paid millions whose job depends on getting this right over any poster on a message board.
