People can paint the picture of him not bringing in players all they want to but for all we know, playing for Lebby and this diseased program is the true problem. But here we are again, our own worst enemy. Yeah lets disown one of our own and back a coach who wont be here after next year.
This is why we suck at this stuff and why OM runs circles around us in pulling in the same direction.
No, this kind of thinking is exactly why we suck. This kind of thinking is exactly how we ended up with Jon Cohen as an AD and one of the root causes why we are in the current diseased situation we are in. This is the old boy way and I for one am glad y’all are finally out of the 17ing way.

you somehow got it completely opposite. like couldn't be more backwards. Ole Miss is better than us because they have no problem firing a matt luke former player long time coach and going and getting kiffin instead.

You do realize OM fired the most red and blue hotty toddy homer in Matt Luke, who was a 3 year starter and team captain for them, 48 hours after telling him he was safe?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Coursesuper again.

Yeah I understand that too.
I am seeing way more negative posts on social media than I am positive. Brandon Walker even made a video about Bump being let go and he isn't happy about it. I bring him up just because he has a large following and I'm sure people will base their opinion off what he said. I don't hate the decision.. especially if we got someone ready that will help us recruit and develop. I don't care about the whole former player stuff. It actually seems to rarely work out when former players come to coach. In my eyes, I look at it like a business. A business and friends usually don't work out. I'm sure he will land another gig somewhere and I'm grateful for everything he has done for our university. Wish him all the best. Now it's time for us to upgrade and go win in the portal.

People can connect the dots given where the KT is starting the Egg Bowl rumor came from.
It was Bumphis and Brandon Walker but yes

He has not recruited well and has not developed well. Unfortunately you have to do one of those well at the P4 level. Look I like Chad. I think he's a good dude. He's extremely nice and was a great player for us. But at the end of the day, being a former player can't outweigh that you can't recruit or develop at a consistent and high level. It also doesn't help his case when he's out there leaking stuff to media and boosters.
Our receivers have been the bright spot the past 2 years. Sorry, but im not buying that he had nothing to do with it. And surely he wasnt fired for any petty bs. Lebby better get this hire right. And make changes where we really need them and soon.

Some of the same people telling me to not "freak out" about Arnett are now freaking out over Bumphis. Which is interesting.
Like I said we may not like the decisions Lebby is making with the staff but there is no question these are his own decisions and I respect that.

Yea and they should have hire Weis Jr but the high level types convince Carter that the coach with the high level family connections(golding) was the best plan forward and pinned him as the glue that held the kiffin teams together*******this has train wreck written all over it

Pete has a lot of allies in Oxford. I mentioned that back in October.

They had no choice but to hire Golding. If they pass him over and hire Weiss they ran the risk of Golding following Lane to LSU and then having no offensive or defensive staff for the playoffs. I also am not convinced they have signed a real contract with Golding for head coach. Borkey said as much on Sportstalk MS yesterday.

That?s what I?ve heard from my old big mouth OM patients that love to brag. Golding may be replaced after the playoffs.

Then get on the Lebby train and start pulling in the same direction instead of fighting every decision he makes.

It won't happen. They are all in on Pete. For the life of me I can't tell you why, but they are all drinking the kool aid. And honestly, kudos to them. Our fan base is in uproar over a WR coach and theirs is rowing in the same direction on a first time HC.

Those two things are in no way similar.

The post said that we should back Chad because he played here and that "this is we suck and OM runs circles around us". I pointed out that the OM that runs circles around us did the same exact thing. Fired one of their own.

He will be canned if they lose to Tulane. And rightfully so.
But there is no way that happens. They beat Tulane by 35 three months ago. They could run the same two plays all night and beat Tulane.
