If Arnett calls the defense and we give up something stupid like 56 points I don't care and wouldn't demand that he be fired. We need to get a head start on next year. If we get blown out just say "Oh, different defense didn't have his guys" and move on.
If MSU wants us to forget the entire 2023 season surely the Mayo Bowl won't be a problem to forget.
This won?t work, you are off base because you lack a basic grasp of how football works. Arnett doesn?t have time to put in his defense, the previous defense will have different calls, terminology and adjustments, coverages etc, and I?m keeping this very basic. The old staff will have to go with this one.
