Arnett Question
See people saying he?s a damn good DC. My question is then why hasn?t he been hired as a DC since his time at MSU?

He ran into a little issue in Las Vegas. Apparently, what happens there, doesn't stay there.

Well technically he has twice actually.
After MSU he took a year off at Ole Miss as an analyst.
Then App State hired him very briefly as DC and then he went to UNLV.
He and Dan didn't see eye to eye on the defense and he left for Florida State.

Yeah...Dude has been hired TWICE as a DC since he left here. Bad take.

I was actually curious to see how he did at UNLV. Kind of disappointed it didn't work out there before it happened.

No defensive coordinator sees eye to eye with Dan. I don't understand why he cannot keep a DC

He didn't leave because of a disagreement with Mullen.

Albeit, we seem to be the only P4 school willing to hire him at the moment. Syracuse did technically hire him before Leach pulled him away.

Yeah. I'm definitely NOT holding that against Arnett.
And if the reason is that Dan wanted him to split duties with Guenther and Arnett wanted total autonomy it definitely fits with what we have heard about their personalities.
