Like Arnett or not he is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge upgrade from Duntzler who was historically bad. He might be the worst hire in MSU history and that's saying something. I don't know if some of you understand how bad he really was.

Exactly. This year that would've got us to 9-3 and a Florida bowl. I guess some of our fans like 16th last in yards and 16th in points allowed(15th this year thanks Arky)

We have to get players though. Whether it's arnett or Armstrong or Wilcox or Saban, we have to get players. That will tell the tale.

Worst hire will ALWAYS be Peter Sirmon....as far as DC goes. Everyone keeps confusing his Head coaching career against his coordinator career. I'm glad to see the guy back because we had an above serviceable level from him as DC and we haven't been there since he was no longer the DC ... I know it's kinda like the Manny Diaz situation coming back but Manny never wanted to be here. Objective reasoning says we can expect improvement... especially since recruitment isn't the Trump card that it used to be
