Keep kim
Fire him
Just throwing this out there - University of Arizona was an absolute dumpster fire last year; they were horrible. This year they finished 9 - 3 and dough-popped Arizona State Friday night. So, one-year turnarounds ARE possible; our coaching staff is just not getting it done.
I see no objective reason why anyone would think this. In one year, Lebby has improved this team in almost every aspect from what he inherited from Arnett. Offensive EPA/play has improved from -0.021 to +0.055. Defensive EPA/play has improved from +0.046 to -0.025.
The team has gone from just hoping to be 2-3 scores behind to actually being competitive with a chance to win some games.
Then you look at his history as a coordinator, which is littered with top 10 offenses both passing and rushing. His history with QBs is impeccable.
I think you are letting emotion be the decision maker here, and emotion is a horrible decision maker.
Can you link me to those metrics, and include the numbers from 2022 and 2023, since I don't really care about Lebby's improvement from 2024 when he was the head coach?
Also I'd like to see some Mullen era numbers for comparison.
I think, with KT getting a spring under his belt as the starter and with more progression in the passing aspect of the offense, we will see Lebby have a top 20 EPA/play offense in 2026.
My friend from out of town asked me "who are you hiring to replace Lebby?"
