Well its hard to judge since that team has quit. Okie going to steamroll them. LK might want to change his mind about going over there.

Teams quit it happens; that doesn't change anything else. LSU still loaded with talent and Kiffen would win a NC there likely and not at OM.
Part of our team has quit too; hope they decide to play one more next Friday.

From all your comments regarding mobility I guess you want a qb with feet in concrete. Cool.

It certainly seems like the correct decision was made. I will say though that Nuss was a preseason top 5 draft pick, and he failed too. Could be much bigger problems there than qb

Haha, anyone mobile is kryptonite for some MSU fans.

The right coach and it will not take a nanosecond to turn that around in Baton Rouge

I am a fan of him and I stand by he's better than Shapen on the field. LSU's offense has been abysmal this year regardless of the Qb. MVB lead the entire SEC in offense for the month of October playing against the top teams in the SEC. Shapen hasn't led the SEC positively in 2 years playing as a 6th year senior. Imo MVB is better than Shapen on the field......STILL.

But, if he is a cancer, it doesn’t matter how good he is. A cancer at the QB position is worse than having an OL that can’t block.

Definitely not worth the money. But acting like Shapen is clearly better is funny

There is a free article 24/7, (genespage), regarding the stats of our former players who hit the portal last year. All but about three dropped down to a lower conference or team. Only about 2 of 11 or so have a good year on the field. We have either done a terrible job in evaluation or development, or both, these last two recruiting classes.

If he's a cancer I agree he's not worth it. I'm speaking solely his performance on the field.

No, I want our fans to:
1. Value the passing ability of a QB more than their mobility because that has been proven to be far more of an indicator of football and QB success and passing the ball is something we have to be successful at to win.
2. Understand that mobility doesn't mean that you can overcome being bad at other positions. Therefore start to value being a complete team rather than hope a QB messiah comes in and saves the day. Mizzou pretty much proved this point.
3. Mobility is good. And I'm all for it. Saying Will Rogers was immobile was correct. Saying that Shapen isn't mobile is incorrect. And it's kind of BS to complain about his lack of mobility when everyone emphasized him not running so he could stay healthy. I just wish MSU fans could stick with a position and stay with it for once.

I'm not sure there would be any difference.
