Money coming in for OL and DL.. Great news

Neither have our fans. And don't tell me that buying tickets and showing up for games is all the fans have to do.

Well, we can't all travel to Florida and Mizzouri so they have a cheering section. The crowd was there for Texas, ASU, Tennessee and Georgia. What more do you want coming off of 2-10?

As I posted the other day; our oline is soooooo freaking bad that it is hard to judge Lebby?s decision making skills. Now, the bad oline can end up at Lebby?s feet, so that is another argument.

Bottom line, we could have the top QB, top RB, and top WR in the country and with a putrid OL, they do you little good. Give me good lines and average skill players all day every day. We need to spend on lines.

Yep, I feel like my constant talk about OL and DL for the past week has done more good for MSU than all the money or tickets I have ever donated or purchased.
Seriously though, look at what Lebby has done, with this absolute disaster of an OL and DL. Those two position groups make or break your team. If we had Alabama's OL and DL right now, we would be undefeated. I am serious about that. Undefeated.
We would be better than Georgia. We may be the 3rd best team in the country, if we had OSU, Georgia, or Bama's OL and DL. That is how bad not blocking on the OL and getting zero pressure on QBs and no TFL for the DL makes us.

We would be undefeated right now if we had 2014 OL and 2018 DL. Hell, Fluff and Booth would be up for awards if they didn't have to juke two guys before getting the handoff.

When we get the $ right next year it is a 9 win floor and KTs junior year could be historic

So we are looking at a total of about 20-25 million for football this portal season?

I don't know the exact number. My guess would be around 20-25 though.
But that's for your entire roster, not just portal additions.

Someone posted after the ASU game that losing Whitson cost us two games. They were wrong. It cost us three.

Texas Tech spent $7 million just on their DL last year. And if you have watched a few of their games you can tell it was money well spent.
