...and all would be forgiven with the fanboys that are currently pissed off because he would say its the most beautiful campus in America as he was signing his extension. That would make his trolling and delay in signing worth it to them.
Something just doesn't seem right. He is playing his cards close to the vest yet the family is all over the place out in the open? If he were truly doing something on the down-low, tracking university jets that pick up the family wouldn't be the way to go. I say 80/20 he stays and it's all about winning the press conference like Dawgology said.

Haha, you don't make your kids tour other schools and involve your family like he is...as a troll!

This was brought up on Jake Wimberly?s show this afternoon with his guest. His guest was a nation wide sports guy who said if this just a massive troll job by Kiffin it will be the last time a major college football program will take him seriously as a candidate.
This is no troll job.

2025- 1 loss Ole Miss left out of college football playoffs due to HC Lane Kiffin vacating program.
How hilarious would that be?
This line of thinking should honestly be honored. If you are going to say a QB is worth notching you down a few pegs then losing the head coach should as well.

Unless he just plans on staying there and retiring. I’m just saying don’t get your hopes up. We need to invest in beating them and getting to 8 wins a season and not just hope they lose a coach to “bring them down to our level”. I want to win.

If it’s a troll job, with the jobs available, then he doesn’t care about future offers. He’s got things rolling, they love him and he’s set for life. And… would have to do a Houston Nutt for 2-3 years before they even considered firing him.

Did you not see his press conference after the Florida game? He is not coaching the rest of his life there. I want to beat their asses and I want him gone too. It hurts them more than it does us.

This would make my decade.
If he leaves and an ole piss fan claims LSU as their real rival I wont argue anymore.

Yeah. You don't handle your head coach like he's some wide receiver recruit from Tupelo.

Same man. The meltdown would be epic. I'm sure they would come up with something to tell themselves and everyone else that they pushed him out the door to get their next HC. And they wanted him to go to LSU cause they knew his career already peaked.

I expect to hear, "Well, Lane was really holding us back."

He's made enough money to not worry about public opinion.

Let's play this out. RebelShart Nation pimps their grandmothers in the Grove to raise enough money to make Kitten think about it. IF he takes the money, he has to know the expectation becomes nothing short of a NC. Even Lame knows he has a better chance to win a natty at LSU or Florida for the same money. It would be incredible if he stays.
