If we start Shapen we will probably lose.
If we start Taylor we will definitely lose.
And to the On3 crowd that reads our board but apparently is scared to post, it is not because Taylor sucks. It is because he isn’t ready right now.

Yes. Georgia is better than us. No question about it and thus this outcome is not a surprise. I think we hoped we would show better and look like we are showing additional progress. Just didn't happen today in this game.

Sorry Ed but I must digress.

Stop it with that narrative. He's now ready. Are you not watching this game?

I think we probably win with Shapen IF he doesn't turn it over.

Kamario is going to be a hell of a QB. You can see the progression in just a few games. He is still raw though.

I don’t agree or disagree tbh. I don’t know that Shapen gives us a great chance. He holds the ball too long and takes unnecessary sacks. But Taylor is inaccurate. He can make good throws here and there, because he is a QB, but overall his accuracy is not great. HOWEVER, he is mobile. And given our line, that is a plus.

Seeing is believing, but some people don't see very well.

I am watching it. He has looked like a Freshman. Some good moments and some bad moments. He is really mobile and really athletic. He struggles with consistent accuracy, LIKE A FRESHMAN

Mizzou is better on the LOS. They're a better team

No apology needed. As I tell folks, if we agree ALL the time, only one of us is likely doing the thinking.

But you cannot mention that to State fans. You cannot mention that he has any flaws. The inaccuracy is someone elses fault. If he is sacked it is the lines fault. If he makes a bad read it is the backs fault.
I like Kamario, heck I like him a lot more than Shapen. But you cannot criticize Shapen for everything and Kamario for nothing.

And to state the obvious, we can continue to use KT situationally successfully.

We still are going to have to outspend desperate SEC teams with new coaches to get him decent help though.
