Tremendous win! Can't believe Laster and Tatum held OM to only 3 hits. Big RPI win as well.

And without those hit batters, this shit wouldn't have been close. Y'all suck. Keep not caring about us, Ole Piss, and we'll keep spankin' that ass.

You're not seriously suggesting Alcorn & Mizzou are anywhere close to OM, are you? Unlike those teams, this is a win versus a quality ballclub.
As I said in the other thread, I'm happy we won the previous 4, but am going to be only cautiously optimistic until we show something starting tonight and through the end of the TAMU series. Tonight's win looks damn good. Now let's take it to TAMU!

Really good win.
Outside of a bunch of HBPs, we pitched extremely well against a good lineup- that's very encouraging. And we're starting to get the clutch hits too. Rea and Detz came around tonight, so hopefully that continues. I have a feeling we're going to be hell for teams to deal with down the stretch, as usual.

Vance "moonlight" Tatum, played with him a couple years back and told me he was only good at night. Good outing for his confidence going to the last part of the season.

Haha, nice one. Great win. Also, helps with the lineup we had too. Nice to be on a 5 game win streak! Should be able to win a couple this weekend as well against A&M.

BOOM!! Been sitting in my office all night trying to work, looking at the radio that I would not turn on. Just can't listen on the radio, makes me too nervous. I was depending on you guys. Great job Coach34, Ref and the rest keeping me informed. Just couldn't turn on the radio and conjure up some bad juju! Huge, huge, huge!! I'm pumped!

Just now got around to reading this... Yes, I was referring to Woodruff, as others said. Ross Mitchell has been outstanding.

I can't believe a pitcher had 6 HBP's and we still won the game in not-so-close fashion.

I was at the game and tried to follow the thread as much as I could. It was great when the bears started filing out. I hope this is the game we look back on when it all turned around.

I was sitting behind home plate and some piece of shit bear fan was saying this game didn't matter and their players didn't care. I just laughed at the arrogant phuck.

Many won't admit it, but I feel like most of us felt a loss was likely tonight. Very proud of the team tonight.

That sums up their fan base to a T. Their mantra is all about exploiting the mediocre, and dismissing the significant.
I wonder how that tune changes when they miss out on hosting (yet again) and their semi-talented team gets bounced in 2 on the road at a weak regional. Keep livin' the dream, bitches; y'all obviously don't care about being good at anything.
While y'alls guys are out partying, ours are runnin' routes.

Most runs OM has given up this year.... Fewest hits they've gotten....
We needed that one...

Just got home and yes, I had that doubt in the pit of my stomach right at the start. It actually faded once Laster settled down. My son and I and some of our friends grabbed some picnic tables right above our bullpen. Brought one of our Ole Miss alumnus friends. He remarked that he'd never gone to GovCup with me that we didn't win. Hadn't thought about that (we've been to 4 or 5 together) but I guess I'll be making sure he comes every year now!
