Day 2 of reasons why we will beat Texas A$M

I see you whipper snappers enjoyed yesterday. Maybe you will enjoy today.

Today's reason is their home field advantage is as good as Vandy's was when Bama took over their stadium, what was it like 2018?

They are as dangerous at home as they are away. Wet paper bags hold up better than than their fans. Elko might have balls but those players are still Texas made (no offense to Seth Davis. He is different).

My point is State boys have never been intimidated going into that house because there is nothing intimidated about it. It's big, grandiose, but but is as hollow as bamboo. I don't know why they would start this week.

I this thread idea. Keep it going.

Agree. That place isn't like playing at most other SEC stadiums. It's a strange bunch too. Very weird.

Playing at Kyle Field ain?t like playing at Jordan Hare or Death Valley in Baton Rouge. It?s not that intimidating.

I think the boys know it as well. They are probably almost as comfy playing there as they are at home.

It's just not. Like they're loud at the start of the game and when they do their culty cheers but other than that, it's not ever loud in that stadium. I've been there 5 of the 6 times we've played there and it's just never really been loud. I've likened it to how some of our fans are with the cowbells. Like how our fans are really engaged when they have their bells is like when their fans are doing their corny yells. It's really loud and it can be intimidating, but just like when some of ours rest their bells and it gets quiet, their stadium gets quiet when the chants stop.

I remember a Leach/Rogers game we played there and when we took the lead it got as quiet as a graveyard. Even the announcers were talking about how quiet the Aggies got.

I was there. Dead quiet. Their crowd is just weird. Some of it is high net worth people who do not give a rip about football but have suites to say they do. Some of it is old Aggies who think they are too old/too good to do all the cheers. Some of it are people who think the cheers are weird as 17, which they are btw. The remaining like 25% have to bring all the noise.

I went in 2017. Like I said in another thread, I think I've settled on the way to describe it. They just aren't a hostile crowd. Maybe it's different with Texas. I would like to go sometime and see.
