Back from the game with 4 things:
1. Fluff is a MO-FO!
2. We are an average offensive line away from putting up 10 or 20 more a game. Horrific pass protection and not many open holes in the running game.
3. Run D is a LOT better than we thought it was going to be (they were gassed late in the game). Pass D is what we thought it was going to be. USM and Ariz. St. had athletes playing QB, NIU had multiple guys open deep last week and QB couldn't hit them. He did hit one for what would have been a TD but dude bobbled it backwards for an int. Thank you Heupel for trying to run the ball so much. You would have scored 70 going 80/20 pass run.
4. Fluff is a MO-FO! Worth saying twice.

They never even scored 42 total, it was 41?7 of which were OT?and 14 of which were with the defense off the field. Nice going!

He has thrown what? Three passes all year. If he starts our offense is literally going to be QB run and Fluff.

Shapen is limited but he has the experience. Next year will be a completely different roster and that probably won't be a good thing. Taylor will be training on the fly next season. If we go to a bowl it will be a miracle.

Shapen is not perfect, but the dude throws a great deep ball, and we ran the ball tonight vs a much more talented defense that we have faced this year. We should have won this game! We need a big wr for possession plays and in the red zone; it would also give Shapen a security blanket. The little guys are good in the open, but they aren’t going to body up defenders and outmuscle them for the ball in tight situations.
