NIL is going to help a lot of upper tier programs, but it?s going to hurt Bama because players can get more money now at other schools. It won?t just be all the best talent going to Bama. I really thought DeBoer was a pretty home run hire, but it?s like it?s not going to work out there

I'm one of the few that feel NIL doesn't change anything for us at State. We were unfortunately 3 years late to it which obviously hurt us, but now that we have it going I think being an annual bowl team is not a problem for us once we get back to that. But yeah it's gonna hurt the Bamas especially because you cannot have a two deep of 5 stars. Those guys are just gonna go leave and start elsewhere.

Bama will make Kiffin the highest paid coach in NCAA history in just a few months.

Problem is, you almost will never catch Bama with a down year ever again.

Second, we will not ever get a 5* kid like Jeff or Chris Jones ever again.

Lane might have multiple chances to break coaching salary records next year. But why should he leave when he can coast in Oxford by winning 10 a year and making the playoffs now in the expanded format.

I never thought he was a great coach. His last year at UW he should have lost a couple of games it the other coaches made bonehaed moves that let him off the hook. That and Penix helped him get the Bama job.

Ty is not even the best Simpson. His brother is 10x better than he is. He plays at Martin Westview right now...

Yeah. Why the hell would he want more money for Bama. Completely insane.

I think Simpson will be ok but he struggled last night, especially early. Late in the game he showed some toughness though.
