I thought he was going to walk in at first but then I saw the Ole Miss safety running at him and I was like GO! GO! GO!
Glad he got in.

The top two that I think of are:
1. Auburn 2014- The whole day was electric.
2. Bama 1998- J.J. Johnson ran wild that day. He had over 200 yds rushing. Pulled a hamstring late in the game and wasn?t the same the rest of the year.
3. 1998 Egg Bowl- Winning the SECC at Oxford was sheer joy.

I'm hoping you mean James Johnson because Dennis Johnson played RB in the 70's

Yes that is who I meant to say. I do remember Dennis Johnson running wild against Memphis once upon a time. I believe that was in 1974.

1999 - next time that I tore down the goal post. It capped the first and only season that I went to every game. My wife and I were one of the few that stayed for the entire game at Auburn. Guys we road with had the Suv on the sidewalk in front of the gate blasting Bad to the Bone (wouldn't be allowed post 9-11).
2000 UF - another goal post. I helped tear down 3 goal posts but never got a piece of one.
2000 Snow Bowl. That game was like a delirium dream. My buddy got the fullback's gloves he threw into the stands after. Ended up in some cheap motel because you couldn't drive across the bridge to get back to MS.
I got a slice of the AR goal post on a shelf. Good times back then!!

The piss and miss and year we finally beat bama when the sky diver bounced on the field.

When I left with 2 cheerleaders after the Texas game in the 90's...to be continued

Probably when Artie Cosby kicked the field goal against Arkansas in 1998?? to send us to the SEC Championship game. It was also cold as hell that day as I recall.

Don Smith was money on that last drive. Cedric Coarse and Aaron Pearson led us in tackles that day, and Jeremiah Sangster had a key interception.***

Obvious choice - Auburn 2014.
I think it was 2013 where Bo fumbled going into the endzone in OT and we win on the recovery? There were 2 ole miss girls behind my wife talking noise the whole game. That was wholesome.

Not mentioned I don't think, but Croom's last game against Ole Miss. Yes they beat the ever loving dog piss out of us but I left knowing his stupid ass was gone. Unfortunately that was what it took to get some of our admin's attention.

He was gone regardless. Byrne wanted to go in a different direction. Kentucky 2008 was the final straw for Croom.

Mardye McDole and David Fair really were the difference in the game

George Wonsley and Henry Koonze pounded the middle all day.

No one has mentioned beating Jim Kelly?s Miami Hurricanes in Starkville in one of the damdest sloberknockers ever played......my memory fades but Miami had to punt backed up to their end zone and the The GREAT Johnnie Cooks walked up to the center and whispered a sweet nothing in his helmet and I think he centered the ball over the punters head......If memory serves. If someone else can clarify I would love to remember. A heart stopping ballgame......and Johnnie ?The Maneater? Cooks will forever be the best middle linebacker the DOGS ever had.....JMHO
