    Konner Pilkington debut for Nats..

2 IP, 3 K's, gets the Win over Cincy. No walks, hits or runs allowed. We continue to POPULATE MLB rosters better than most other SEC schools.

I think we had the most a year or two ago.

Got more coming on the way for sure.

Pilkington is really underappreciated tbh. He was the 3rd starter in 16 and then was the Friday night guy for two years. He took some terrible 1-0, 2-1 losses in those two years because our offense was just plain bad. Then his last year he kind of got usurped by Small later in the year. I've always liked Konner though. He was always a fun guy to be around.

Hey Todd, what does Arkansas have in MLB? For some reason I thought Bennintendi was a star player but looks like he is a ChiSox Bottom Feeder these days. Dallas Kuetchel had that one good year, bum status after that. Heston Kjerstad, I thought he was a good pro, seems he is a Mendoza roster filler. Who are their MLB historical stars?

Oddly enough, Arkansas is having more players drafted than they were about 10 years ago but not as many making the majors as in the past. Lots in AAA though. Ryne Stanek and Trevor Stephan are decent. But no Cy Young winners like Keuchel or Cliff Lee.

Cliff Lee was an excellent player by my standards, 4 All Stars, World Series Champ, marquee Free Agent, and Cy Young. I never associated him to Arkansas or the SEC. Looking at his history, he was a Meridian CC player that transferred to Arkansas and did not have a Kopps, stanek, or Isiah Campbell All American impact in D1 baseball.

Yeah. I'm not sure why. I really like Hagan Smith though. I felt like Kopps would be a good relief pitcher in MLB.

I might have missed it but haven't noticed you posting in a while, as much as usual. Is it you're not as interested as much like many of us or we suck so bad at football right now, there isn't as much to add lately

Apathy for football is at an all-time high for us right now. Year six under Pittman things have just gotten stale. At least under Morris it was less than two years and we were so bad that it was comical, but now it?s just knowing you?re in that purgatory of 5-7 wins there just isn?t much excitement. Even going 2-10 there?s more to talk about than being consistently average/mediocre.

Misery loves company. Might as well hang around a while.

I definitely feel some parallels between MSU and Arkansas football. Arnett was our Chad Morris. If Lebby is our Pittman I'll take it for the moment but 5-7 wins would get stale pretty quickly.

Meanwhile KC is having a up and down season and Hardin was having a decent year but is now on the IL. Been watching Mershon all week and he is struggling mightly and needs to find his happy place.

Are you the guy who argued with me that Benintendo would be a better player than Ronald Acuna?
