Money wont be the reason he goes somewhere else. Damp is worth 8 figures. If he goes somewhere else- it will be because they feel like Duke/Kentucky or whomever will put a better team around him

Sorry Charlie- thats not the case at all. Like our midget scorer that currently plays for us- we can build a team around Damp's kid that makes him the star and the showcase. Damp knows his kid at State will be treated like royalty, paid well, and given every chance to show his skills for the NBA. Rula's kid and his teammate- David and he are close friends.

Most would rather average 20 PPG and be the team's focus while ending in the 1st round of the NCAA Tourney than be the 6th man at Kentucky and make the Elite 8

This discussion assumes he's actually good enough to play for a Blue Blood. Otherwise why do we want him. Just because he's a legacy? If we're not in it to actually compete, meaning we can't afford to, then shut down the sport and use the money for football.
