Great seeing B Chance coming back

Dude loves MSU. He can?t please a few but he has improved every year. May I add, some complain him having a weak arm, I never saw him making throw that hurt us.

We are better with him than we are without him.

If he was a portal pick up and we saw his stats we would be fired up about adding him.

He?s consistently had one of the better approaches at the plate the last couple seasons. He?s not really a liability in the field either, very good depth piece.

Good. We need OF'ers, SS, and a good catcher at least. Could use another 2B guy. Frei and Teel are draft risks. Coud lose both of them unfortunately and have to be prepared for that

You bet man! This also makes me feel even better about BOC. Beans is a key leadership piece.

Glad having Stallman also. Things are coming together, just imagine after BOC and staff get settled in focusing not just next year but the future.

Chance is a dirtbag. All his positives FAR outweigh any negatives folks may have with him. Very glad he is coming back.

If Bryce had the exact same stats he has now but was 6'1, 185 lbs, 99% of the hate directed towards him would be gone.

People see a short guy and think it hinders his ability, but the dude just gets it done.

Chance gives some flexibility. If Teel signs pro, Chance can play CF. If not, Chance could move back to LF. Neither Chance or Nunnallee have much power but both are very difficult to strike out. Good guys to have in the 7-9 hole range.

I think it's more the prior years and performance in those years. He was much improved

Yup. He had a good year but people don’t trust what they see because he started slow. I was pleasantly surprised.

he's hit .330 in 2022, .286 last year, and .332 this year. Certainly good enough. Maybe it just feels lower because his SLG is in the .400's

He reminds me of Rusty Thoms. Yes, Thoms had more power but that was gorilla ball era.
