Wasnt a big fan of Leach here, but this is so totally deserved. So happy for his family.

It's odd to me. I loved Leach, but I hated watching his offense. Then very quickly, as life always seems to do, I was reminded of how good he was when we went from winning 9 games in a season to 2!! 2!!!!!!

The way Rogers ran it was boring. Almost constant check downs to the RB. I think occasionally we got to see what his offense should be, like at Auburn or A&M. Not sure if it was lack of arm strength or courage to throw to more dangerous locations on the field, but it's was mostly boring because of it.

Very well deserved!!!

He deserved it! Keeping him out would've been a travesty! He was truly a one of one!

Would be awesome if Jackie and Leach both went in at the same time.

I just think he couldn't read a defense very well to be honest and so when he was unsure he would just check it down. You can still attack vertically even if your QB doesn't have the strongest arm because it's pretty rare that a QB is asked to throw the ball more than 40 yards on a specific play. I think he also was bad about thinking too much and therefore trying to do too much- see the 2022 Egg Bowl. I know Leach wanted him to push the ball downfield more.
I hoped it would get better with experience but it just never really did for him. And then we made him run an offense where he had to think even more while at the same time basically taking away his autonomy.

I believe she just recently put their house in Starkville on the market a few months ago. Not sure where she moved to or is planning to move to.

Coach Leach was a great PR guy for MSU and had us heading in the right direction. The media loved Coach Leach because he was easy to talk to and they never knew what was going to to be the tangent he went off on. His death and the subsequent hiring of Arnett is what set our football program back. Coach Leach deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Congratulations CML!!

Same. Loved Leach the man and coach and was pumped we hired him but man it was hard football to watch. Cannot explain it but it did not feel like we won 9 games in 2022 even though we did. Such a weird feeling.

A mixture of both. The RB check down is the 2nd read on 90 percent of true Mumme/Leach air raid plays and concepts. I think Rodgers was just mechanical and did not have the ability to make plays off script which lead to boring, but effective, football. Make no mistake though that is why Leach loved him. Rodgers ran exactly what was called.
