Exactly which rule was that? I thought most of the rules here were pretty "loose" so whatever it was must've been egregious.

No they don't.
I don't mean that in an ugly way. I love the current team, but if O'Connor is ready to make it official, their feelings should be of no consequence.
Whatever date and time O'Connor wants to announce it is the day we should it, whether that's today, tomorrow, next week, Sunday at 4 am, whatever.

I disagree, but an article I read stated to expect nothing until our season ends. That being said, if the deal is signed you can bet the team knows. We’re a senior laden team anyways. I doubt they’re concerned about the assistants jobs.
