I like the idea of having Northeastern as the 2 in our Regional rather than a power conference school.

Looks like a 2-2 finish for the good guys! At least 6 starters who will be gone after the regional will have a trip to sunny Florida.

We will see, I am rooting for a trip to UCLA.

Dont sleep on Northeastern. They finished the season winning 24+ games in a row and are coached by Mike Glavine(Tom's brother), and have a pretty good tradition. Yes we should beat them but they're not gonna be a gimme, they're very well coached.

Thanks Cc, I would rather play in Florida than the west coast. Lets hope we can get back up and not play like we are lost.

Yep. Hopefully OM gets paired with a good SEC school, or they gonna be in Omaha. Hell, if they get through the regional, they are much better suited to win a Super, so anything can happen.

Yeah- I’ve also heard baseball NIL is in a very good place right now. Appreciate our guys for stepping up

OM is having a fantastic sports year.
Football went 10-3, MBB and WBB went to the Sweet 16, Baseball is probably going to host, Softball is one win away from the WCWS...
That's why we need to nail this baseball hire. We need something good to go for us.

Eh, not so sure. The fact so many SEC teams are already locked up, obv plays for you here, but they're definitely deserving....but the committee doesn't often care about that, lol.

10 SEC Teams deserve to host. But they want to keep the Tourney somewhat open to the rest of college baseball- they freaking said that last year.
USM's guy is on the committee- USM gonna host if they make the Tourney final
Even the guys that cover college baseball have yet to have 8 SEC school's hosting. They know its unlikely

I heard this also, money to get players will not be a problem and if we need more they can get it. Now we have to make the right hire. That is the key.

Their resume is waaaay better than USM. Not even in the same universe. Football is going with the best teams, baseball needs to as well. Just another reason it's just a club sport.
