    A Good What If Exercise

All this coaching search stuff has got me thinking back to the 18 search. From everything I was ever told we had an MOU with Schloss.

If we continue down that road and complete the hiring of Jim Schlossnagle, do we win the 19 CWS? I mean he has taken Texas to a Top 8 national seed in Year 1 with less talent than we had on that 19 team. If he is the coach instead of Lemonis do we bring that national championship home? I think we do.

Again, not the point. I am talking about one year. Do we win the national championship in 2019 with him as the coach? That was the question. Not is he a nice person. Do we win it in 21. Is he still here. None of that.

Do we win the national championship in 2019 with Jim Schlossnagle?

You bring up a good point. We had some big names on our radar for that search too and got none of them. Will that happen again?

I think that is in the back of your mind definitely. I think people see O’Conner as the Schlossnagle type candidate this time around.

The big difference this time around is John Cohen isn?t running this search.

Speaking of championships why do we always see OM blaring their championship everytime they are on TV and we never hear about ours?
